اردو: کسی شخص کو گرفتار کرنا / حراست میں لینا جس نے کوئی جُرم کیا ہو۔

Hindi:  Kesi shakhs ko Giraftaar krna / Harasat mey lena jis ney koi juram kia ho

E.g:

1:     Police placed/put her under arrest for spreading rumors against the government.

2:    FBI placed/put him under arrest for providing children with drugs.

3:    They were placed/put under arrest for carrying guns.
