Adjective:
An adjective is a word that modifies a noun or pronoun.
or
A word that provides us with extra information about nouns or pronouns, is called an adjective.
or
A word that adds something to the meaning of a noun or pronoun, is called an adjective.
Note: Usually, most of the adjectives fall into three main categories of questions which are 'what kind?, How many?, How much?'
E.g:
Good, Bad, Hot, Soft, Small, Big, Large, etc
He is really a good person.
(Here, the word good tells us "what kind of person he is?")
Bad habits are condemned everywhere.
(Here, the word bad describes an attribute of the word 'habits'(noun)}
The tea is very hot.
Her hands were extremely soft.
He lives under a small tree called Kikara.
